Leonard Savage (1917-1971)

Leonard Savage was a mathematician who contributed to the concept of decision theory by studying gambling as a model for problems in probability and decision theory. He wrote a book titled The Foundations of Statistics which considers subjective probality and utility. He also wrote articles relating to statistical inference using the Bayesian approach.
